RIP, Niklaus
Niklaus Wirth is one of the reasons why I am here now.
He had a huge and profound influence on my life, because it’s Pascal (or better,
Turbo Pascal) that introduced me to the world of programming.
And his book, “Algorithms + Data Structures = Programs", which I remember
from my Algorithms course at university, had a huge impact on the way I
structure my programs and routines, even today.
He died, just a few days ago.
RIP, Niklaus. You are one of my heroes, and I owe you much.
